• 2004 - Company founder and inventor Michael E. Brown develops in his garage a new clothes drying technology that dries clothes with “water” using a hydronic device known as the “DryerMiser™
  • 2005 - Brown founds the Hydromatic Technologies Corporation and files for international Patent and Trademark protection with the United States Patent & Trademark Office (USPTO).
  • 2005 - Hydromatic works with NASA-funded Space Alliance Technology Outreach Program (SATOP), which assists in refining the clothes drying  technology and is featured on the front page of its magazine.
  • 2005 – The U.S. Department of Energy’s Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy (EERE) receives an informational draft, conducts a technical assessment and declares that Hydromatic’s prototype is a “market-ready” technology.
  • 2006 - Hydromatic makes front page of Florida’s Orlando Sentinel Business page newspaper.
  • 2007 - The U.S. Department of Energy includes “Hydronically-heated” clothes drying technologies in its technical assessment framework for a new energy standard for clothes dryers expected to be mandated in 2011.
  • 2007 - Hydromatic is featured in Florida Trend Magazine’s 2007 Economic Yearbook and described as a company to watch and as a technology innovator poised to impact the Florida economy.
  • 2007 - Company founder, Brown is featured on the front page of “Word On Da Streets” urban newspaper…”History in the Making, Urban Inventor of the Hydronic Dryer.2008 – The Dryer Miser™ technology is published in the Orlando Business Journal and featured as a “Wet solution to drying Clothes.”
  • 2008 - Hydromatic Technologies puts its “DryerMiser” technology on display during the 2008 International Builders Show (IBS) and recieves more than 20,000 website hits in a 48 hours period, while breaking a long-standing Florida record for single day website hits.
  • 2009 - Hydromatic/Brown is featured on the front page of Florida High Tech Magazine and recognized as a company to directly impact nine out of ten American households that have the second most energy consuming appliance in the home.
  • 2009 – The DryerMiser™ successfully passes stringent U.L Safety testing as the first company to submit a Hydronic Clothes Dryer to Underwriter’s Laboratory (U.L).
  • 2010 - Hydromatic establishes its new brand name product line “The SafeMate Clothes Dryer™ and declares it’s non-combustible dryer to be the safest and best clothes dryer ever developed that will virtually eliminate lint-related dryer fires”.
  • 2011 - Hydromatic launches it’s new Website “WWW.SAFE-MATES.COM” in preparation for its 2011 product launch.
